The City of Toronto’s Expanding Housing Options in Neighborhoods (EHON) initiative continues to support gentle residential intensification by enabling a broader range of housing types, including multiplexes, garden suites, laneway suites and low-rise apartment opportunities. The initiative aims to increase housing choice while respecting the character of Toronto’s neighborhoods and supporting complete, walkable communities.
